Termination of the lease

We hope you will stay and grow your business at The Enterprise Centre but should you decide to leave us, you will need to give us one months notice in writing.

Which insurances are tenants responsible for?

Retford Enterprise Centre insures the building and carries full employers and public liability cover.
However each tenant organisation is responsible for taking out its own insurance cover in respect of:
Employer's Liability
Public Liability
Contents insurance

What are the rules on smoking?

As you would expect, The Enterprise Centre is a ‘No smoking’ building – that means there is no smoking in any part of the building, in the main entrance or on the pathways leading to the main entrance.  We ask tenants to respect this restriction.

For those who wish to have a cigarette there is a ‘designated smoking area’  and shelter to the far right of the entrance to the building.

What is the billing procedure?

You will receive two invoices each month: one for suite rental and one for other services that you have made use of during the month.
Under the terms of your lease your office rental needs to be paid by standing order one month in advance.  The second invoice for services used will be issued on the last day of each month. This will include charges such as photocopying, franking, booking meeting rooms etc. This must be settled within 14 days of receipt.

Can we make alterations to our Office?

Whilst we have no objection to you putting up shelves or making small alterations to your suite, these must first be approved by the management and work must be carried out by approved contractors.  The offices must be returned to the original condition when tenants leave the building.

How many Office keys will I get?

Each company will be given two keys for their suite. Additional keys can be ordered through Reception. These will be charged for at £20 each.

How do we gain access to the building?

To gain access into the building tenants will be issued with a key fob which opens the gates out of hours.  The tenant office keys also activate the individual alarm to their respective office.  
All visitors must report to reception where they will sign in and out.

What are the hours of opening?

Tenants have 24 hour access to the building, 365 days a year. Reception is staffed from 9.00 am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Reception Services
The Enterprise Centre Reception staff are here to help our tenants. They offer a range of services to help you run your business. Should you require any services not listed please don’t hesitate to ask – we’ll do what we can to help.

Greet your visitors at reception and notify you of their arrival.
Sort incoming post to your pigeonhole for collection.
Accept outgoing post for collection by the Royal Mail.
Receive deliveries on your behalf.
Provide a telephone answering and message service.

Photocopying
Black and white A4 - 10p per sheet
Black and white A3 - 15p per sheet
Full Colour A4 - 20p per sheet
Colour A3 - 28p per sheet

Franking
At standard letter rate.

Secretarial and administrative services are charged at £10.00 an hour and include:
Organising collection of a parcel/s by a courier.
Making telephone calls on your behalf.
Picking up and forwarding emails while you are away.
Photocopying.
Binding and laminating documents.
Preparing mail shots.

FAQs - Car parking

What about visitors?

All visitors on arrival (or departure) are required to report to reception to register their presence (fire regulations).
Reception will call through to inform you that your visitor has arrived.
